EGA Logo

The Philadelphia Area Chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. (EGA) is the oldest in the country. It was originally established in 1957 as the American Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild of London. A year later the EGA was formally established, and the Philadelphia area stitchers formed its first chapter in 1964.

Today, we are a group of stitchers who enjoy all forms of our craft. Monthly meetings usually take place in Devon, PA, on the fourth Wednesday evening of the month. Additionally classes, seminars, and field trips are organized several times each year.
