December brought our yearly holiday party and judging of the presidents challenge. The president's challenge this year was to make a bargello ornament, which we then donated to a chapter member's parish tree. There were so many neat ideas! And Patty ended up winning the challenge.
We also had afternoon tea and everyone brought drinks and snacks to share. It was a great time beginning the festivities for this time of year.
Since this will be the last post until the new year, everyone with the Philadelphia Area Chapter wishes you and yours a happy holidays!
What a lovely way to celebrate the holiday season! The bargello ornaments sound creative, and donating them to a parish tree makes the challenge even more meaningful. Sharing tea, snacks, and handmade projects is a wonderful way to strengthen friendships and keep traditions alive.
