As usual, I'm running behind again on recaps. So for now I'm going to just skip ahead to our last meeting from July! We met on the 26th and Margaret got us started with the Favorite Medallion #1 - a petit project from the national site. You can even do this project yourself as long as you have an EGA login!
Margaret showed us the various stitches used in the project and assisted as we all got started. For being a small 3 inch by 3 inch project, it did have some quirks to it! But it's been a lot of fun to work on so far. You can enlarge the photos by clicking on them!
Next month will be working on finishing these pieces. Margaret proposed some ideas (such as an ornament or a biscornu) so we'll help each other with those in just a few weeks on August 23. Be sure to have your stitching done!
