November is when we have our chapter's "annual meeting" and a luncheon to go with it. Every year we get a speaker, and this year we invited Ellen Endslow, the Director of Collections and Curator from the Chester County History Center. She came and talked about all of the samplers that exist from the Westtown School and everything she showed was absolutely fascinating. It kind of makes you wish embroidery/sewing/stitching was still taught in schools.
There was also a potluck luncheon where everyone brought dishes to share. The food was delicious and the conversation was even better!
